Christmas Morning!!! Yea!!!

Okay! Here it goes. I'll tell you all about it and then you can check out the pictures ... well, at least that's the order I'LL put it in. I guess you can skip ahead! :o) And you don't really have to read all of this - this blog has just pretty much turned into my journal! :o)
Starting off from where I left off last night! We gave Lexi Christmas Pajamas and put her to bed in them. Her diaper wasn't very full but I wanted to have a fresh, empty one so I would know for sure that she wouldn't leak and she could wear those pajamas for Christmas, too! I had dreams all night that Lexi would wake up soaked and she wouldn't be able to wear her pajamas today. That's exactly what happened! I've never seen her leak so much. :o(
So she had a bath and got in nice, clean clothes and we lined up to go downstairs for presents! Alexis, of course, didn't understand much and was frustrated that we were making her go downstairs without eating first, so we had to give her a drink before we went down. Finally, we made it downstairs!
Jordan's little brother, Spencer, was trying to get Alexis all excited and he was jumping up and down. When Alexis got to the bottom of the stairs, she didn't notice the presents at first. She just started jumping up and down! It was funny.
She finally saw her Baby Doll that she got from Santa ... (She was with me when I bought it, so she already recognized it!) It's a peek-a-boo doll - it has magnets in it's hands and cheeks and when you squeeze it's foot, the hands drop! I showed Alexis in the store (I was trying to decide which doll to get and wanted her to show more interest in one or another) and I didn't think she'd remember. But she ran over to the doll and instantly moved the hands to the cheek! She kept doing peek-a-boo herself! It was so fun to watch her excitement!
Then the stockings came next. Grandma had put a little monkey in Lexi's stocking that rolled back and forth (like one of those cars that you pull back and it rolls forward itself). We showed her how it worked and she was kinda scared. :o(
We started opening presents, which was so fun to watch Lexi. Lest night when she opened her pajamas and the necklace from Grandma and Grandpa Hermansen, we told her to sit down to open the presents. So every present she opened today, she had to prepare. She's push everything away on the floor to make room and she'd sit down and fuss until she was able to pull the present onto her lap. Then every little tiny piece of wrapping paper she'd pull off, she'd hand to me, refusing to continue 'til the wrapping paper was put in the trash! :o) What a cutie!
Lexi was so excited about all her presents. Jordan and I got her the doll (technically from "Santa"), a stroller and backpack to put the baby in, a Backyardigans DVD (of course), some coloring markers and paper, pajamas and a Xylophone for the bath. Waiting at Grandma and Grandpa Hermansen's house is Baby Signing Time DVDs. We had to have them sent there since we don't think we'll be here long enough to get them. There are still a few small things that we plan to get her. We just wanted to conserve money a bit. :o)
Grandma and Grandpa Hermansen gave me money to buy Lexi lots and lots of Clothes! Yea! Thanks Mom and Dad! They also gave her a Hippo Bubble Machine, a Beach Towel, and a necklace!
Uncle Spencer gave Alexis a Backyardigans book and a stuffed Backyardigans - Tyrone!
Emmaline (Alexis' only cousin on the Cook side) gave Alexis 8 books! Fun! Thank you guys!
Grandma and Grandpa Cook gave her a matching mother/daughter bracelet (matches one they gave me!), two stuffed Backyardigans - Paublo and Austin (all we need now are Uniqua and Tasha!) - a Backyardigans guitar (Lexi LOVED this gift! She sat and played with it for a half an hour!), a soft-page Photo Album, a beautiful Christmas Ornament, and, technically, the monkey in her stocking! They also bought her the first Christmas Dress, matching shoes, matching coat and a dress she'll wear this next Sunday!
Jordan and I also had a very good Christmas! My parents gave us more money for Lexi's clothes (Thanks SO much), gave me some jewelry, sent us a box of Christmas Goodies - Popcorn, Hot Chocolate, Marshmallows and some kissing Reindeer stuffed animals - and a Willow Tree Nativity plaque w/stand. Thank you Mom and Dad! We love them all!
Jordan's parents gave Jordan two books - Theodore Rex and Near Cummorah's Hill - a Coat, a sleeping bag and a razor. In his stocking was a pin - Left is Right - an excuse box - it has buttons of excuses for getting off the phone and what not :o) - some passion fruit juice, Jordan's favorite, another book - The Infinite Atonement - and Bum Warmers ... I'll explain this one. Jordan's mom has hand and feet warmers and when we went to cut down the Christmas Tree, Jordan said they should invent Bum Warmers. So Kathleen went out and found "Body" Warmers! :o)
I gave Jordan the first season of Heroes, the third season of The Office, the fourth season of Lost (these are the only three tv shows we really watch), a book - The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt, the book that precedes Theodore Rex - a nice sweater/shirt and a tie in his stocking!
Jordan's parents gave me a book - Hunger Games - a Sudoku book for our drive home, the matching bracelet with Lexi's, a beautiful sweater, a computer program - it's this home designer software that I've wanted SO bad! I'm SO excited about this! - and, in my stocking, lotion, a Twilight Pen and the Twilight Soundtrack!
Jordan (not entirely to his knowledge) gave me a shirt, two pairs of pants, two pairs of CASHMERE socks and some new pages for my planner! What a good hubby! :o)
Grandparents of Jordan and I sent us money, which really helped out with the holiday! Thank you so much, Grandma Helen and Grandma and Grandpa Hermansen!
Many people in Jordan's home ward were so nice and welcoming to us, too! We got plenty of treats, a couple cute name key-chain charms (Larsens) and Lexi got some bracelets (Buffams)! We also got cards from my Aunt Jodi and Uncle DeVal, Aunt Connie and Uncle Sheldon, Mike and Barb and pictures of the girls, too, and from the Heisers! Thanks everyone!
We, obviously, had an awesome Christmas! We love you all and hope you had a great day as well! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Ps. Sorry if I forgot to mention something you gave us. I know there are a few that we haven't gotten yet, so I'm sorry I didn't mention them! Love you all!

Miss E got a stroller too! Isn't it fun to watch them run into everything with it? I can't believe how big she is getting. (Oh, and let me just say that I am very jealous that Lexi lets you do her hair. I am not so lucky...)
