Not much of an update, just pictures!

Our Cute lil' Family

Me - I really wish I would've uploaded the pictures
differently so I wasn't what you saw first off!

Alexis has found the drawer under the oven.
She has claimed it as hers and puts books, toys, shoes ...
and apparently herself down there all the time!

Alexis and I - Isn't she so cute!?!

Alexis LOVES her daddy! She loved getting on his back!
She kept saying "da-da" over and over again while giggling!

One thing I love and hate about Arizona - rain storms.
They are beautiful - heavy rain and lightning - but lots of power
outages. This one storm had the heaviest rain-fall we'd seen.
We all took turns running outside and getting drenched!

Alexis surprised me by actually enjoying the rain.
She usually hates stuff like this - getting wet, getting dirty -
but she absolutely loved it! She didn't even fuss once!

After having a nice, warm bath, Lexi relaxes with a
favorite book - like father, like daughter!

This is one of Alexis' favorite books - thanks, Barb -
We think she likes the little boy in all the pictures!

"I love you THIS much!"
She put one of her chain-link toys around her wrist
all by herself - she's really into bracelets lately!

SO cute! Look at that mullet growing in!
We really need to give her her first haircut!

Back to the rain - You know how in movies they always
have a scene where the couple has a kiss in the pouring rain? I've always
wanted to do that, but never had the opportunity - I did this night -
it was as good as it looks in the movies!

Alexis is SO cute! Of course, I'm bias, but wouldn't you all
agree?!? She loves when we change her clothes - it's like she knows
that we're taking off one cute outfit and putting on the next! She
just loves clothes - and shoes - and everything girly!!!

Alexis loves reaching up for the camera while I take
pictures of her. We have a camera that you can pull out the
screen and see yourself when you take a picture -
She LOVES that feature! She always yells until I take it out now!

Playing with toys - Lexi loves to walk over to her little
toy box and just dump it over and watch all the toys fall out!
She'll even put all her toys in the box just to do it again!

Alexis got stuck underneath the high chair!
Somehow she climbed between the bars and sat in the middle!
She didn't fuss, though - I think she thought it was funny!

Lex loves crawling all over the couch while I take pictures!
But now she never holds still and smiles when I want to take pictures!

On our anniversary! Doesn't Jordan look so cute!

One of Jordan's favorite pass-times!
Sleeping in while I take pictures of him and Lexi!

Our little Toddler is just SO stinkin' CUTE!!!

Anniversary and Update

Holy cow!!! We have been married for two years today! That is insane! I can't believe it's been this long already! I can't believe we have a toddler! Oh my goodness!

Alexis Whitney, playing with her monkey and "bracelet".
It's really a floaty toy for the bath, but she puts it on her arm all the time!

We, as you can see, now call Alexis a toddler! We went to get her some new clothes the other day. She's been wearing size 18 months, so we assume she's in size 24 months or 2T next ... wrong! We get 2T to be "sure", try them on when we get home and they fit perfectly ... right now! Now all her clothes will be too small within a month or so! Good grief! It's stressful being a parent ... but so worth it!!! We love her to pieces!

Alexis modeling her new 2T shirt - good grief, she's big!!!

Just in the past few days, Alexis has started saying more and more words! She can say juice, fish (gold fish crackers), cheese (food and camera-related), na-night, bah-bah (bottle), backyardigans, ball and I'm sure more that I can't think of right now. She sings backyardigans all the time! She's kicking her ball everywhere and, obviously, walking everywhere, too. She's starting to shake her head No to everything! When she's hungry, we'll ask her if she wants something and hold it up. If she doesn't want it, she'll shake her hands and head. If she does want it, she smacks her lips and says, "Ma-ma." Doesn't make a ton of sense, but it's stinkin' cute!

Alexis loves her high-chair! When we try to get her out,
she holds unto the tray really tight and keeps it close to her belly!

We are still down in Arizona selling pest control! It's starting to cool down - it was 106 degrees the other day! :o) It's actually been really fun! I've really enjoyed it. I'd like to stay here year-round, especially during the winter! Jordan can't live without snow, though! :o) We plan on staying here until the end of September. We will then go up to Pocatello for two weeks. Jordan's grandparents are having a 50 year anniversary celebration in Salt Lake City near the middle of October. (Gosh, that makes our 2 year anniversary look like nothin'!) We'll go down to that, then we'll be on our way out to New York until the new year! We're so excited about being able to spend so much time with family the next few months!

That's pretty much all that's going on with us right now! Thanks for looking at our blog! We'll update it later and let you know then! We love you all!

Back in the AZ

Lexi and I just got back a few days ago from hanging out in Pocatello! It was lots of fun! We are glad to be back home, though. It's funny how I've been in Pocatello more this summer than I've been in Arizona, yet Arizona feels like my "home". Crazy! I miss all my family and friends! I wish I lived close to all of you so I could see you all the time! It was a blast hanging out with Dave's family at Pineview! Madi and Ethan are so big! They have the cutest personalities! I love them so much! Brooke's family is so sweet and fun! I miss Ashy, Brenden, Caden and Isaac so much! We have a picture of Isaac on our fridge and Lexi giggles and points every time we pass it! Kevin's family was lots of fun, too! It was fun having Hailee and Realyn at Grandma's house with us for a couple days! They were so sweet! If one got hurt, the other would appologize and they'd hug and forgive each other so easily! Wonderful examples! Mike's little family is always fun to be around! Rylee is SO cute and Chloe is so much fun! I love their personalities and expressions! They are SO fun! And of course, it was awesome to see Mom and Dad and hang out with Katybug all day and Brad and Brian a lot! Katy is such an awesome helper! Brad knows everything about snakes and sharks : ) and Brian is just a lil' stud muffin! Mom called after I got home and told me that Brian had called her and asked where she was. When she told him she was on her way home from dropping me off, Brian said, "I didn't get to say goodbye! I didn't think she'd be gone when I got home from work! I hate working! I don't wanna do this when I grow up!" : ) He's so cute! I hope he's enjoying my "Breaking Dawn" book that hadn't come by the time I left! It's driving me insane! I go to the store and see it everywhere! I'm so tempted to buy it again ... or at least stand in the store for hours and read it right there!!! Well, Lexi is starting to get impatient with me being on the computer! She likes it if a video or picture of her is up, but that's pretty much it ... she's so vain! : ) Love you all!
