APRIL

Alexis has become an EXPERT in video games. One day, Jordan and I were playing "Lego Indiana Jones" on our XBox during Alexis' nap. We were on the last level and could NOT figure out how to complete it. Note as well that the levels get harder as you go. Alexis wakes up and we justify playing a little longer because we can give Alexis a snack in her high chair. So with Alexis in her high chair next to us, we continue playing, trying SO hard to figure out how to beat the level. Alexis actually starts telling US what to do!!! She noticed details on that game that we didn't even SEE!

She also knows where to go on my laptop to get to Nickjr.com and play all those games. She figures them out SO quickly and has to tell US what to do when we go over to "help" her out! My smart little angel! :o)

Alexis was obsessed with this Easter egg for awhile. She kept pretending that there was a bird inside, sometimes more than one, and she had to pull them out and teach them how to fly. Sweet girly. :o)

I think Alexis is going to be a photographer - she LOVES taking pictures. We have so many pictures on our computer that if anyone else saw them would think "Why the heck do they have pictures of the floor and Alexis' toys and what not?" :o)

Alexis has really enjoyed going fishing with Daddy, Uncle Dallon and (sometimes) Mommy this Spring. There were a few weeks there that she was asking us daily, morning and post-nap, if we could go fishing. Of course, she didn't appreciate Daddy holding the fishies so close! :o)

This park that we go fishing at is GREAT! There's plenty of grassy area to have a picnic, a playground to keep Alexis entertained, and, of course, the lake to fish on. Alexis likes the picnic and then fishing even more ... but she is, after-all, a toddler and enjoys playing on the toys the most! (She IS enjoying this time, too - I think the sun is just in her eyes!) She especially enjoys playing on the toys when Uncle Dallon is with us. There was one time that Alexis and Uncle Dallon were playing on the playground while Mommy and Daddy were fishing and a little girl pushed her down the slide ... Alexis still talks about it whenever we go to ANY playground. :o)

Our cute little fisher-girl. I tell Jordan that she is going to be the PERFECT girl when she's older ... She's girly and loves to look pretty and dress up and what not, but she also enjoys camping, fishing, CARS, etc. Little future-heart-breaker! :o)
