Our Last Days in Arizona!

We are done in Arizona! Weird - I am both happy and sad! I would love to stay here, now that the weather is starting to get nice! It was lots of fun seeing Amber and her family, Jodi and Aunt Kimmy and their family, Chris and Heidi and Christianna! We had a blast swimming and enjoying the warm (hot) weather! I think it'll be hard for Alexis being bundled up the next 5 or 6 months! She loved swimming SO much! We're gonna miss it here! I would love to come back, maybe ... if we came sometime in October and left sometime in April! :o)

Yeah, the pictures are a little backwards from how the day went! We actually went out to Amber's house in the afternoon, then met up with Chris and Heidi that night. We went to a church picnic with them, then went to their house and watched the first Obama/McCain debate. That was fun! :o)

Our very good friends, Heidi and Christianna! We will miss them SO much! They are just sweet, beautiful friends and we're so thankful for them! Love you, Heidi!!! Kiss and hug little Christianna for me!

One of Alexis' favorite things to do is definitely reading! Whether she's reading or not, she just loves books! She's always bringing books up to anyone and everyone, holding it out for them to read it to her. Jordan's so proud of her! :o)

Me and little Christianna! I just love her so much! She came right to me for this picture, I didn't even have to hold my hands out to her! she's just so sweet! I'm gonna miss her so much!

During the debate, Jordan thought it would be funny to force Lexi to sit next to Chris. Now, most of us think this is scary and Jordan thought it would be punishment for her being fussy! :o) Alexis loves "Uncle" Chris! She sat next to him all happy and content! It was so cute!

Alexis has gotten so used to being able to see herself when we take pictures that she expects it now! We're all sitting around, taking pictures, and Lexi runs over to Heidi and pouts until Heidi shows her the picture of her! Isn't she just so cute?! :o)

I don't know what it is about this picture - I just think Alexis looks so beautiful, her hair blowing in the wind and looking up at her Daddy in the driver's seat! So sweet!

Coming back from Amber's house, Alexis was worn out! She fell asleep within minutes of getting back onto the road. Let's hope she does this good on the way up to Utah tomorrow! *sigh* I wish!!! :o)

Little Christianna - she's so sweet! We love her so much and we're gonna miss her!!!

This is when Alexis was pretty much forcing Christianna to kiss "Stitches"! Christianna was very patient with Alexis. Lexi even smacked her a few times on accident and Christianna didn't make a peep! Sorry, Heidi! You're the best for putting up with us! Love ya!

Yeah, it looks like Alexis was sharing "Stitches" with Christianna ... but she wasn't! We're trying to teach Alexis to share, but I don't know how well that's going. It's hard when she's the only one home all day with us and everything that she plays with is hers.

While riding in the car, Alexis has learned to roll the window down with her foot! She loves to have the wind blowing in her hair! She was just so cute on the way to Amber's house!

At Amber's house, Alexis had fun, along with Ryder and Peyten, putting stickers of Barn Yard Animals all over themselves! Alexis had seen stickers before, but hadn't really enjoyed them! She thought it was so much fun there! Having other kids around was fun for her. She is learning to be a bully, though, and we realized we need to start teaching her to share!

Little Ryder is so cute! I can't believe he is only 6 months older than Alexis. He is so smart and talking like crazy! It was so much fun being able to see them a few times while we were down here. We're gonna miss them!

Like I said - Alexis really got into the whole sticker idea while we were there! She had baby chicks on her cheeks, a cow on her chest, a chicken on one arm and a pig on the other! She just thought it was so much fun!

Here's all three of us - Me, Alexis, Peyten and Ryder! Aren't they so cute?!

Alexis with the pretty flower behind her ear and her cute monkey backpack on!

We walked all around our apartment complex this evening (Sunday). It's finally starting to get nice! Drives me crazy! We walked past a lady that was holding a few flowers. Alexis starting waving and yelling to the woman, so she stopped and showed her the flowers. Of course, Alexis wanted one. The lady was so nice and gave her this yellow one! Alexis loved it. That's how we got her to follow us around until we got back to our apartment - Alexis is very independent and does NOT want us telling her which way to go!

She knew she was so pretty, but she just wanted to see the flower for herself! She kept reaching up and touching it. But it was so sweet to see her smile so wide! She loves when we pay attention to her, of course, and she knows that she's beautiful!

Oh, she's just so sweet! How can you not look at this adorable, beautiful girl and just love her SO much!? :o)

Hey - Just because I said she was beautiful doesn't mean she can't destroy things!

This morning, Alexis woke up not feeling so good! Sorry to say, but it helped out in the way that we could accomplish a lot and not have her getting into things. But now, almost everything is packed up and ready to go, but our sweet little girl is feeling so sick and crying so much! I feel so bad for her! I wish we could do something to help! :o( Sad!

She really is a doll! I love all of her new clothes.. Those boots are stinkin cute! Moving really sucks... I hope you guys have lots of help. Good luck with the drive! So we might be going to St. George tomorrow. Mylee woke up sick this morning, so now I'm not so sure what we will do! I totally spaced this when you told me you were coming. But if we stay we most definitely want to see you guys! If you need a place to stay, we have a guest bedroom downstairs. I'll have Bri call Jordan today!
