Alexis and Grandpa Hermansen!Grandpa Hermansen came to Arizona for some business meetings and decided to stay the night at our house! It was lots of fun! I hope he feels the same, even though he was sleeping on a tiny air mattress and Lexi cried a lot during the night! Alexis didn't quite know who he was at first, but she warmed up to him pretty quickly. She sat with him to read books and ran to him when we told her it was time to brush teeth! :) There were a few times she wondered about him, though. Grandma had gotten a Halloween present for Jordan - a very realistic and kinda creepy Obama mask! Alexis did NOT appreciate this gift! She was - and still is - very scared of the mask. That, of course, doesn't stop Daddy from terrorizing her! There was also a time when Lexi was "reading" with Grandpa - she always turns the page and quickly points at the picture on the right side and mumbles something. She does it on the same spot, every time, no matter what. Well, Grandpa thought it would be funny to tease her a little. Every time she turned the page, he'd point at the picture faster than her! At first, she was just confused ... after a few minutes, she started getting a little sad and, I think, a little annoyed! She's (sadly for Jordan) the princess of our house and she does NOT like being teased! :) Despite these two things, Lexi loved having Grandpa here for the night! She's pretty dang friendly and loves being around people! This morning when Grandpa had to leave, she acted a little shy - I think she's just not feeling well - but the second he was out of view from the window, she started waving goodbye! :) We were so happy he came to stay with us and we can't wait to stay with them for a couple weeks coming up here! We love you, Daddy! :)

Oh my gosh you guys! I'm so glad you have a blog. We have been trying to call you... Your phone numbers must have changed. Lexi is so so cute and looks so old! I wish her and Mylee could play... We miss you guys!! So you are moving to Provo? That's so exciting... You better call us when you get home.. We really need to keep in touch =)
Oh really??! That would be awesome if we could see you guys... We would love it! I actually make all of Mylee's bows. It's so easy! I'll make some for Lexi if we see you guys soon! Yeah Bri called and left Jordan a message like a week ago on his old phone.... So I'll have to give him your new number and have him call Jordan. You guys all look so great... and it looks like you had a fun summer! But yeah for sure let us know if you want to get together =)
