Quick Story ...

So I just have to tell this quick story about Lexi. First of all, Lexi has been talking SO much! She repeats practically EVERYTHING we say, or at least tries to. So we have those letters that go on the fridge and Lexi really got into them just a few days ago. She kept bringing letters up to me, one at a time, while I told her what color it was, what letter it was and what the letter "stood for", and she'd repeat every word I said. Yellow "A" is for "Alexis". Blue "Y" is for "Yeti" (backyardigans thing). Green "H" is for "Horsie" ... etc. So Lexi brings me the "X" and asks about it. I say, "'X' is for Xylophone." Lexi just nods, as if she totally knows what I'm talking about and knows what a Xylophone even is. I mean, she's played with one, but I've never really told her that's what they're called or anything! So, anyway, she nods and says, "'X' is for 'Lexi's Phone'."
