Playing outside on a "warmer" day!

Sad that this is what it looks like on a "warmer" day! I cannot wait for summer! I'm so ready to be done with all this colder weather!!! Lexi doesn't even seem to care, though! Kids never do! She just wants to play, even if she's wet and cold! :o)

Going down the slide! She can climb up and go down all by herself now! What a big girl! :o)

On the swing! Alexis LOVES this swing SO much! This is always the first thing she does outside! I just put the pictures on backwards! :o)


New summer outfit for Texas! It's not warm enough to even consider wearing clothing like this here in Utah yet! It was so nice in Texas! :o) I'm just frustrated about one thing. Last year, Alexis LOVED her flip-flops! She refused to wear anything else! So I go and get her flip-flops and she tries them on and doesn't want to take them off! I take the tags off and we take them down to Texas with us. The first day we're there, I change her into this exact outfit and put on her flip-flops! Now, my mom always says that she doesn't like flip-flops because they feel weird between her toes and stuff. So my mom also says that it's mean of us girls to make our little girls wear flip-flops! I kept telling her last Summer that Alexis LOVES her flip-flops, that I'm not making her wear flip-flops! So, anyway, the first day there in Texas, I change her and put her new flip-flops on ... and she takes two steps and fusses and wants me to take them off. My mom gave me a smug little look like "told ya so!" :o) I tried all week to get her to wear them and she just didn't want to! I'm so sad!!! :o( Maybe she'll like them when it's warmer and she hasn't seen them for a few more weeks!
